its partner, NGOHub by answering the call for support from Alzheimer’s Disease
Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) with a generous contribution of essential supplies
that will benefit their clients (persons with dementia), caretakers and volunteers.

In conjunction with the celebration of the Merdeka spirit of unity, the largest 24-hour standalone
convenience store operator, 7-Eleven Malaysia, partnered with an NGO hub to give back to the less
fortunate local community through the distribution of groceries to charitable homes that have been
severely impacted by the pandemic. Basic necessities and groceries such as cooking oil, rice, canned
sardines, biscuits, energy drinks, and packs of sugar were distributed to three homes to ease their
burden during this challenging period.

7-Eleven Malaysia has just launched an eco-friendly initiative to transform ocean-clogging plastic
waste into striking tote bags. The brand’s new and exclusive reusable bag collection is dedicated
to sustainability, challenging Malaysians to factor in environmental health while shopping. 7-Eleven
releases two reusable bag variants - the Out of the Ocean Bag and the Recycled PET (polyethylene
terephthalate) Bottle Bag – to tackle the problem of plastic pollution in the oceans. Best of all,
as part of the #TrashToTreasure Reusable Bag campaign, from now until 16th September 2021, with
every purchase of the reusable bags, RM1 will be channelled toward 7-Eleven’s environmental
non-governmental organisation (NGO) partners, Reef Check Malaysia and Juara Turtle Project,
so customers can play their role in supporting local nature conservation efforts while sporting
a trendy tote on their shoulders.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country, many had to face financial woes and thus,
7-Eleven Malaysia has been giving assisting the marginalized and less-fortunate communities,
around the country. To date, 7-Eleven has collectively contributed more than RM1.6 million
worth of essentials, from test kits, personal protective equipment, groceries and foodstuff
to various beneficiaries, nationwide. Driven by the desire to ‘Always Be There For You’,
7-Eleven is calling on the public to support its ‘Kotak Putih Campaign’, in which contributions
received handed directly to the needy individuals, families and charity bodies, located within
the area of every 7-Eleven stores in Malaysia.

7-Eleven Malaysia distributed grocery items donated by its customers through the Lend A
Helping Hand 2021 campaign to frontline health workers at Hospital Angkatan Tentera Tuanku
Mizan in Wangsa Maju, police and military personnel at roadblocks along Jalan Ampang, the
underprivileged communities at Anjung Singgah Yayasan Kebajikan Negara, and the homeless
along Jalan Bukit Bintang, among others.

7 –Eleven Malaysia carries on its goodwill by launching ‘Lend a Helping Hand 2021’ campaign
to provide relief and help ease the burden of beneficiaries whom are impacted by the
Covid-19 pandemic in the country as well as to our heroic frontliners that are working
tirelessly to keep us all safe. From 4 June until July 4, 2021, the public is encouraged to
contribute through the campaign by purchasing necessities and supplies from 7-Eleven stores
nationwide and placing them into the collection box. Supplies could range from instant food,
groceries, beverages, medications, and other household cleaning essentials found in the
store. The public may also drop off essential general supplies into the collection box and
the contributions will then be channelled by 7-Eleven to the nearest beneficiaries in each
area nationwide including government hospitals and medical clinics, other civil service
frontliners, charity homes such as those for the elderly and children, public universities,
students’ dormitories and more.

responsibility (CSR) this Hari Raya by reaching out to the disenfranchised communities that
have been adversely affected in light of the restricted movement order.
Acknowledging the challenges faced by these less fortunate communities during this festive
season, 7-Eleven Malaysia arranged for the distribution of groceries and basic necessities
such as rice, cooking oil, canned sardines, cookies, instant oatmeal and condensed milk to
name a few to Rumah Titian Kaseh, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Dan Perlindungan Al-Haq, and other
selected charitable organisations that are located in the most affected areas to help ease
their burden during this challenging period.

In conjunction with International Autism Day and the holy month of Ramadan, 7-Eleven
Malaysia, the largest 24-hour standalone convenience store operator placed orders for
delicious “breaking of fast” food packs prepared by the Autism Café, which were then
subsequently distributed together with NGOHub Asia to three orphanages namely, Yayasan Noor
Manzil, Rumah Amal Budi Bistari and Rumah Anak Yatim & Asnaf Nur Sakinah, bringing joy to
more than 80 underprivileged children and their caretakers.

Semurni Kasih, its annual donation drive under the Community Care programme. Held in
conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, the six-week-long donation drive will run until
May 23. Customers can contribute by purchasing necessities including food, beverages,
groceries, household essentials, personal care and other supplies at 7-Eleven stores and
then placing the items in dedicated contribution boxes found in every store. As the tagline
‘You Contribute, We Distribute’ suggests, contributions received will then be distributed by
7-Eleven Malaysia to various charity organisations and charitable causes across the nation.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, which falls on Mar 8 every year, the largest
24-hour standalone convenience store operator, 7-Eleven Malaysia, partnered with NGOHub Asia
to celebrate the residents of Rumah Bonda by organising a prenatal yoga session. As the
residents deserve to be spoiled with some self-care time during the month in honour of them,
7-Eleven Malaysia and NGOHub engaged yoga instructor Delphine Lim for a one-hour session via
Move For Hope - a fundraising initiative to provide refugees in Kuala Lumpur with better
access to online education.

senior citizens at several old folk’s homes in conjunction with the Chinese New Year
celebration. As part of its commitment to positively impact communities in need during the
festive season, 7-Eleven Malaysia arranged for the distribution of biscuits, instant oats,
canned goods, beverages as well as mandarin oranges to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Orang Tua Xiao
Xin, among other old folk’s homes in Klang Valley.

7-Eleven Malaysia in collaboration with its partner, NGOHub recently came to the assistance
of a number of charitable homes for the less fortunate children, providing essential items
and food supplies to these homes impacted by the on-going pandemic nationwide.
In light of the Movement Control Order (MCO), charitable organisations housing the children
face even more challenges as their group is at most-risk and lack the necessary means to
access essential supplies due to shortages. Keeping this in mind, 7-Eleven Malaysia arranged
for the distribution of rice, condensed milk, cooking oil, canned foods, sugar, multivitamin
supplements, sanitary products as well as antibacterial household cleaning products during
these challenging times to Rumah Aman Children’s Home, among other orphanages in and around
Klang Valley.

Venue: Persatuan Damai Disabled Person Association Malaysia
7-Eleven Malaysia recently concluded its annual CSR initiative, #BuatBaikTogether, to
support disadvantaged communities across the country. #BuatBaikTogether4 successfully
collected over RM1.5 million worth of supplies consisting of food and non-food products such
as groceries, canned food, biscuits and snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and medical
supplies. The contributions were gathered and distributed to over 200 charity homes and
non-profit organisations nationwide.
The campaign successfully raised RM5,000 for CSR partner Damai Disabled Person Association
Malaysia through the contribution of RM0.10 for each purchase of a selected partner brand
listed by 7-Eleven Malaysia. Damai Disabled Person Association Malaysia has been at the
forefront to equip the disabled community with the necessary skills to live independently
and create disability awareness training specifically conducted for various government
agencies, NGOs and private sectors.
