Happy Year End shopping spree for kids

7-Eleven Malaysia sponsored eight children from Rumah Chrestus (Taman Cuepacs) to go on a shopping spree at the Pop-Up Booth in MyTown Cheras, spreading joy and happiness in the festive season. The children were given a variety of items, including snacks, toys, and beverages to share with their family and friends.In total, 11 children were beneficiaries of this sponsorship, and the total contribution by 7-Eleven was RM4,295.45. The children were overjoyed and their smiles were infectious, spreading a feeling of gratefulness throughout the community.

7-Eleven Malaysia and PDRM Join Forces to Provide Flood Relief

7-Eleven Malaysia once again demonstrated their commitment to serving the community by joining forces with The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to provide flood relief assistance in preparation for the upcoming flood season. 7-Eleven Malaysia donated essential supplies such as inflatable boats, life jackets, and sustainable food supplies to support PDRM's rescue efforts during floods. The total value of the donation amounted to almost RM500k.

Empowering Disabled Community Through #BuatBaikTogether

#BuatBaikTogether, which aimed to empower and support disadvantaged communities across the country during the season of gifting. The 4-week long campaign, which ended on 1st January 2023, encouraged customers to donate to a charitable cause by contributing necessities such as food, beverages, household essentials, and other supplies purchased from 7-Eleven Malaysia stores.

Over 2,400 stores nationwide placed contribution boxes where customers could drop off their donations. The campaign was a great success, with over RM750K worth of supplies collected, consisting of food and non-food products such as groceries, canned food, biscuits and snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and medical supplies. The contributions were gathered and distributed to over 200 charity homes and non-profit organizations across Malaysia.

Celebrate 7-Eleven Day in a more meaningful way through Care & Share Campaign

7-Eleven Malaysia HQ encouraged their employees to celebrate 7-Eleven Day in a more meaningful way by participating in a charitable activity. The employees were asked to donate RM30 or more worth of necessities such as food, beverages, and household essentials, and drop them off at a specific location. Those who participated were rewarded with 500 My7E app points.

The donations collected from the employees were then distributed to the Aiyide Old Folk Homes, a shelter for abandoned old folks with difficulties or no dependence. In total, 18 old folks benefitted from the donations, which were worth RM451.80 in-kind.

Sponsors care packages for Let's Play Carnival event organized by Persatuan Insan Istimewa IMC Selangor

7-Eleven Malaysia recently sponsored 200 care packages to support an event organized by Persatuan Insan Istimewa IMC Selangor, called Let's Play Carnival. The aim of the event was to raise funds and gather disabled children to have fun together, while also inviting members of the public and parents to participate.In total, 200 attendants benefited from the event, which was made possible thanks to 7-Eleven's generous donation of RM 6,000. The care packages sponsored by 7-Eleven contained essential items such as snacks, drinks and toiletries, which were distributed to the attendees of the carnival.

7-Eleven Malaysia Launches Campaign to Support Charitable Causes During Patriotism Month

7-Eleven Malaysia launched a “Lend a Helping Hand” campaign to encourage Malaysians to help to those who were still suffering financially. The campaign was held during patriotism month to highlight the importance of community and unity during challenging times. Customers were able to contribute to the campaign by purchasing necessities such as food, beverages, groceries, household essentials, personal care items, and other supplies at 7-Eleven stores. These items could then be placed in dedicated contribution boxes found in every store. Over the course of the month-long campaign, 7-Eleven Malaysia collected over RM1Million worth of goods donated by their customers.

#GiveFood Campaign Supports Children in Need Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

One group that required support was the 28 children who resided at Hope Mission Welfare Society, a shelter that provides for their daily needs. In response, 7-Eleven launched their #GiveFood campaign to provide assistance to those in need.
As part of the campaign, a single contribution of RM10.00 could provide four meals per day. In total, 7-Eleven contributed RM14,000 to the campaign, which was equivalent to 50 days of meals for the children at Hope Mission Welfare Society. The company also made in-kind donations of items such as toothbrushes, hair shampoo, condensed milk, and soap to further support the children's needs.

Collaboration between 7-Eleven, BookXcess, and Fun4Kids for Underprivileged Children Workshop

7-Eleven, BookXcess, and Fun4Kids Malaysia joined forces for a fun filled workshop day at the Puchong Flagship Store. The workshop was designed to provide underprivileged children with an opportunity to build houses from scratch and showcase their creativity, as well as to give them a chance to experience the outside world.The workshop day was a huge success, providing underprivileged children with an opportunity to learn and grow in a fun through supportive environment, access education and experiences they may not have had otherwise.

7-Eleven kick-started a “Back To School” Program

7-Eleven Malaysia launched a "Back To School” Program to support children from the B40 population in returning to school by providing them with essential school items. The program aimed to donate over 100 care packs to primary and secondary students, providing them with the necessary supplies to support their back-to-school journey during the post-pandemic phase.
The care packs included school bags, stationery supplies, vouchers for school uniforms and shoes, and other essential items that the students would need for school. Through this program, 50 primary and 50 secondary students were supported in their efforts to return to school.

Environmental Awareness Month- 100% Recycled PET Bottles Bag​

7-Eleven Malaysia had an ongoing commitment to promoting environmental awareness and reducing plastic waste. As part of this commitment, the company encouraged customers to use reusable bags and provided education on ways to reduce the use of plastic in daily life.

One initiative that 7-Eleven Malaysia implemented was the promotion of 100% recycled PET bottles bag. These bags were made from recycled materials, making them an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic bags. Customers were encouraged to use these bags for their purchases, reducing the need for single-use plastic bags.

Donation to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Dan Perlindungan Al-Haq

7-Eleven Malaysia contributed RM12,000 in a children's milk powder money donation to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Dan Perlindungan Al-Haq, a charitable organization that provides care and support to children in need. The money was used to purchase milk powder for the children living under the organization's care, ensuring that they had access to a nutritious and essential source of food.

Semurni Kasih​

The campaign featured contribution boxes at our stores nationwide, where customers could donate food and non-food items to those in need. The campaign was a resounding success, with customers responding enthusiastically to the call for donations. By the end of the campaign, 7-Eleven Malaysia had collected more than RM1 mil worth of food and non-food items, which were distributed to those in need throughout Malaysia. It was a successful campaign that had a significant impact on the communities it served. The generosity of 7-Eleven Malaysia customers and the efforts of the company's staff helped to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Women's Day

For International Women's Day, 7-Eleven Malaysia celebrated women's achievements and raised awareness about women's equality through a social media activation. The campaign aimed to highlight the contributions of women and promote gender equality.

Throughout the campaign, 7-Eleven Malaysia shared inspiring stories of women who had made a difference in various fields, including business, sports, and social activism. The stories were shared on the company's social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.By sharing the stories, 7-Eleven Malaysia was able to engage with customers and promote a more inclusive and diverse society.

One For One​

As part of a campaign, 7-Eleven Malaysia contributed one meal to participating B40 communities for every ready-to-eat (RTE) meal purchased. In total, 21,000 packs of meals were distributed during the campaign. The campaign aimed to support B40 communities, which are among the most vulnerable and marginalized in Malaysia. By contributing one meal for every RTE meal purchased, the campaign provided much-needed support to those who were struggling to access food.

Throughout the campaign, 7-Eleven Malaysia worked closely with community organizations and NGOs to identify the communities that were most in need. By the end of the campaign, 21,000 packs of meals had been distributed to participating B40 communities, providing much needed support and relief to those who were struggling to access food.

Flood Relief Aid​

Date: January 2022
Venue: Nationwide

Distribution of food and clean water was carried out through Gurudwara Sahib Guru Nanak, Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah, and Saora Industries. Gurudwara Sahib Guru Nanak, a Sikh temple dedicated to serving the community by free community kitchen that served food to anyone, regardless of their religion, caste, or economic status. During the period, they managed to serve food to those who were affected by using the food provided by 7-Eleven.
We also worked with Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah, which one of the ways we can provide relief by distributing food, providing first aid and medical assistance, and delivering clean water to those in need.
Clean water is a very important resource, and we partnered with Saora Industries, which has experience in sustainable agriculture and water management.
